After 32 years of putting words to paper (okay, mostly to digital media), I've written pretty much everything under the sun. Need a knockout fundraising campaign? I'm your person. Technical manual or standard operating procedures? Got it covered. Social media that gets shelter pets adopted? Right here.

For the past 20 years, I shifted my focus to animal welfare - from writing policies to improve shelter processes to sharing stories about wildlife in Arizona's Sonoran Desert.

With a master's degree in nonprofit management/contemporary animal services leadership, I can break down complex animal welfare, veterinary, and conservation concepts for any audience. I spent volunteer and staff time at the sanctuary, where my focus was on using storytelling
to raise awareness about conservation issues and attract funders for our work with mountain lions, bears, Mexican grey wolves, coyotes, and more.

And thanks to my experience writing for medical journals and crafting tech content for the web, I bring technical precision to every project (and am always excited to learn a lot more about new subject matter).
